Way to kick start your metabolism with this green tea laden breaking of the fast! Oranges go really nicely with matcha as they add a little sweeter, fresh flavour.
Make sure to use ceremonial grade matcha powder rather than ones 'suitable for baking' - it tastes much better. (I get mine from Amazon, as with everything else).
The matcha taste takes some getting used to, so add honey if you're not a big fan. (Or just stay away from matcha completely! There are other options that are healthy and probably taste better. Don't grimace all the way though breakfast just because someone told you it was healthy! Life's too short for that shit).
- 150g Greek Yogurt
- 1 tsp Matcha Green Tea
- 1 tsp Honey or Syrup (Optional)
- 1 Orange
- Sunflower seeds
- Stir together the yogurt, matcha and honey if you're using it.
- Peel and chop up the orange and pile on top of the yogurt. Sprinkle with seeds.
