I love chia seeds but I find it a bit insubstantial to have by itself, so I added a mashed banana to make it a proper breakfast.
Best part - this is so versatile and goes with almost anything so the world is your oyster as far as the toppings are concerned.
I went for pomegranate seeds and mulberries.
I've recently really gotten into dried mulberries - I really would recommend them. They're delicious and chewy and packed full of nutritious goodness.
I bought mine online from the Raw Chocolate Company on Amazon - they really do sell everything!
- 1 very ripe Banana
- 1.5 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 150ml Unsweetened Almond Milk
- Toppings galore!
- Mash up the banana and put in a bowl
- Stir in the chia seeds
- Stir in the almond milk.
- Leave to stand for 10 minutes. Give it a good stir. Now put in the fridge and leave overnight.
- The next morning, top it off with whatever takes your fancy!
